Albany Police
ALBANY — On March 5:
● Tyler J. Flannery, 21, Brodhead, was cited for no vehicle insurance.
● Samual R. Jorgenson, 28, Monroe, was cited for driving while revoked.
● Preston L. Roberts, 18, Fitchburg, was cited for driving while suspended and exceeding speed zones.
● Justin L. Buelteman, 27, Albany, was cited for driving while suspended on March 13.
On March 20:
● Adam D. Tomlin, 40, South Wayne, was cited for driving while revoked.
● Alexander D. Rice, 26, Albany, was cited for exceeding speed zones.
● Craig T. Coulthard, 40, Albany, was arrested on a probation warrant.
On April 3:
● Keriana R. Mataya, 24, Kenosha, was cited for exceeding speed zones.
● Brett A Squires, 28, Brodhead, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating under the influence, driving while revoked, possession of open intoxicants, non-registration of auto and failure to stop for an emergency vehicle.
Monticello Police
MONTICELLO — On March 27:
● A driving complaint was reported at 7:44 a.m. on North Monroe Street and Greenview Avenue. Investigation is ongoing.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 11:14 a.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street.
● Officers assisted New Glarus police at 10:15 p.m. with a disturbance.
On March 28:
● Police located an unsecure building while conducting security checks at 12:59 a.m. at an undisclosed location. Everything was okay and building was secured.
● Jonathan S. Mattmann, New Glarus, was cited for driving while suspended at 6:57 p.m. on Wis. 69 and West Coated Avenue.
On March 29:
● Lost property of a black grill cover blown away by high winds was reported at 4:20 p.m. in the 700 block of Johnson Street.
● Police was contacted by the Madison Police Department at 4:34 p.m. in reference to an ongoing investigation in the Madison area.
● A parking complaint was reported at 7:52 p.m. in the 400 block of East Coates Avenue. The vehicle was removed as police were
investigating.
On March 31:
● Trespassing was reported at 1:39 p.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69. With police presence, store management advised individual they were no longer allowed on the property.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 2:36 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street. Investigation is ongoing.
On April 1:
● Denia Salgado, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license and having a suspended registration at 3:34 p.m. on Wis. 69 and West Lake Avenue.
● Police found a set of keys at 11:47 p.m. in the 100 block of West Highland Avenue. The keys were returned to their owner.
● Found property of a driver’s license was reported at 10:13 a.m. It was returned to its owner.
Brodhead Police
BRODHEAD — For the week of March 28 to April 3, police performed 22 security checks, 24 citizen assists, 13 assists of other agencies, eight follow-ups to incidents, 28 vehicle registration and 12 traffic stops; responded to 31 calls for service and reported eight EMS calls, 14 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and three fire calls. No detox or mental health transports were reported.
On March 28:
● A deer carcass on the roadway was reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of East 9th Avenue. The animal was removed.
● Disorderly conduct was reported at 9:56 p.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street. The matter was resolved.
On March 30:
● A non-reportable traffic crash was reported at 7:51 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 3rd Avenue. A written warning for unsafe backing was issued.
● A Monroe man, 28, was cited for non-registration of vehicle, displaying unauthorized plates and failure to obtain vehicle title at 3:46 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.
On March 31:
● Debris on the roadway was reported at 5:05 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The debris was removed.
● An Illinois man, 23, was arrested for possession of marijuana at 3:13 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.
● Barking dogs was reported at 9:47 p.m. in the 1400 block of West 4th Avenue. This remains under investigation.
On April 1:
● A Brodhead man, 17, was cited for truancy at 8:23 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.
● A Durand woman, 41, was cited for speeding at 9:26 a.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.
● Multiple code violations were reported at 9:56 a.m. These remain under investigation.
● Loitering was reported at 5:29 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Subject was advised to leave premises.
On April 2:
● A dog at large was reported at 2:20 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 2nd Avenue. The dog returned home.
● Drug paraphernalia in terrace was reported at 4:19 p.m. in the 1100 block of East 2nd Avenue. Police were unable to find any paraphernalia.
● A Rockford, Illinois man, 22, was cited for speeding at 8 p.m. April 3 in the 400 block of 23rd Street.
Monroe Police
MONROE — Matthew P. Vincent, 63, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence laws at 11:53 p.m. April 2 in the 700 block of 12th Avenue. He was released after posting cash bond.
● Evan J. Fair, 25, Gratiot, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 3:11 a.m. April 3 in the 1300 block of 17th Street. He was also cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, failure to stop for a stop sign, unreasonable and imprudent speed and possession of THC. He was released to a responsible party.
● Officers responded to check the welfare of a female who claimed to have no place to stay at 11:47 p.m. April 4 in the 1600 block of 9th Street. She was later located in the 700 block of 8th Avenue. Identified as Rebekah A. Bak, 25, Monticello, she was arrested for violating the conditions of her bond. She was also cited for possession of open intoxicants. She was jailed.
Darlington Police
DARLINGTON — Juventino Tlaxcaltecatl-Tlehuactle, 19, Darlington, was arrested on two Darlington arrest warrants and for driving after revocation at 5:26 p.m. April 2 on Main Street.
On April 4:
● Gustavo Garnica-Jimenez, 32, Darlington, was issued an ordinance citation for animals running at large following a complaint of two pigs running around town.
● Lesman Lopez-Pena, 18, Madison, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and obstruction at 2:08 a.m. on East Louisa Street. He was also cited for failing to stop at stop sign, driving without valid license, underage consumption, possession of open intoxicants in vehicle and no vehicle insurance. He also provided false names to officers. He was released after being identified and posting bond.
● Alicia Limones, 21, Caledonia, Illinois, was cited for inattentive driving after hitting an Amish buggy in the 11300 block of Wis. 23. Her vehicle sustained functional damage. The buggy sustained disabling damage. It was towed.
● Will Soto-Mejia, 14, Darlington, was cited for driving without a license, possession of open intoxicants in vehicle and underage possession of intoxicants on Galena Street. Venessa Lopez, 16, Darlington, was cited for underage consumption. Noyeli Perea, 16, Darlington, was cited for underage consumption. Ronal Artica, 18, Freeport, was cited for underage consumption and possession of open intoxicants in vehicle.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE — Matthew D. Benjamin, 40, McFarland, was arrested on a probation hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at 10:47 a.m. April 2 at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe.
● Vincent T. Mendoza, 29, Monroe, was cited for disorderly conduct at 3:22 p.m. April 3 at a residence in the N5400 block of Skinner Hollow Road, Town of Adams.
● Tyler A. Richardson, 26, Brodhead, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating under the influence at 12:34 a.m. April 4 on County T and Wis. 81, Town of Spring Grove. He was also cited for failure to obey traffic sign, failure to wear seatbelt and possession of open intoxicants in vehicle. He was released pending court.
