Albany Police

ALBANY — On Saturday, April 6:

●  Shannon K. Nafzger, 36, Footville, was cited for driving without a valid license.

●  Matthew M. Miller, 37, Brodhead, was cited for driving with a suspended license.

On Sunday, April 7:

●  Ryan A. Erickson, 24, Whitewater, was cited for driving with a suspended license.


Darlington Police 

DARLINGTON — Police investigated a hit-and-run that occurred Monday, April 1, in the Darlington Elementary-Middle School parking lot and was reported the next day. Video surveillance showed a truck driven by Julie Lawver, 32, Cobb, struck an unoccupied vehicle in the lot. She left the scene without reporting the accident. She was cited for failure to notify police of an accident, inattentive driving, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and hit-and-run to an unattended vehicle.

●  Cole R. Gollmer, 21, Darlington, was arrested on charges of possessing less than 200 grams of marijuana with intent to deliver, carrying a concealed weapon and altering a firearm’s identification mark, following a traffic stop for equipment violations at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 3. He was also charged with two counts of felony bail jumping. He was jailed. The arrest happened after Kilo, the Darlington Police K-9 unit, was requested to sniff the vehicle and indicated the presence of one or more controlled substances. Police then searched the vehicle. In addition to the marijuana, a large sum of cash was also confiscated from the vehicle. Two other vehicle occupants, Chantelle Richmond, 19, and Oakley Larsen, 20, both of Dodgeville, were cited for possessing drug paraphernalia.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Demetrius M. Jones, 33, Monroe, was arrested on charges of strangulation, battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping at 10:08 a.m. Thursday, April 4, as the result of a domestic dispute. He was jailed pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Friday, April 5:

●  Janet K. Donlin-Ceesay, 48, Belleville, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating while intoxicated after deputies and Monroe police responded at 12:33 a.m. to a report of a vehicle in the ditch at 5th Street and 14th Avenue in Monroe. Donlin-Ceesay was northbound on 14th Avenue when she lost control on a curve in the road. The vehicle entered the north ditch and struck an embankment. She reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed. Donlin-Ceesay was also cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle. She was jailed pending bond or court.

●  April P. Dicks, 37, Gratiot, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated after deputies responded at 11:56 p.m. to a report of a vehicle in the ditch at Franklin Road and Allen Road, Town of Cadiz. She was uninjured. The vehicle had moderate damage and was towed. Dicks was also charged with resisting an officer, attempted battery to a law enforcement officer, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was jailed pending court.

On Saturday, April 6:

●  Kevin D. Beckwith, 41, Monticello, was arrested at 1:28 p.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69 in New Glarus on a Green County warrant for failure to pay a fine on a disorderly conduct citation. He was transported to the jail, where bond was posted and he was released.

●  John R. Anderson, 54, Monticello, was cited for operating a commercial motor vehicle without a license and non-registration of a commercial motor vehicle after deputies stopped a semi-tractor trailer unit at 8:22 p.m. in the N4600 block of County N, Town of Monroe. The tractor trailer unit was later removed from the scene.

On Sunday, April 7:

●  James M. Doyle, 32, Belleville, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 12:34 p.m. in the N9200 block of Dohm Drive, Town of Exeter. He was jailed pending bond or court.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, March 30:

●  An animal problem was reported at 7:52 p.m. on South Mound Avenue in Belmont.

●  An animal problem was reported at 8:19 p.m. on Third Street in Argyle.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 11:17 p.m. on Walnut Street in Belmont.

On Sunday, March 31:

●  A runaway juvenile was reported at 7:10 a.m. on South Iowa Street in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 7:47 a.m. on County D, Town of Wayne.

●  A deputy responded for a citizen assist at 7:56 a.m. on South Barnum Street in South Wayne.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 10:35 a.m. on South Park Street in Belmont.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 11:35 a.m. on Alvin Street in Blanchardville.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 1:45 p.m. on Mink Farm Road, Town of Wayne.

●  An animal problem was reported at 2:44 p.m. on Cherry Road, Town of Wiota.

●  A hit-and-run was reported at 3:40 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Herman R. Reinhold, 37, Blanchardville, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 9:26 p.m., following a 4:44 p.m. complaint of disorderly conduct on Maple Street in Blanchardville. He was jailed.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 9:59 p.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 10:31 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle.

●  Found property was reported at 11:25 p.m. on County H, Town of Elk Grove.

On Monday, April 1:

●  A deputy responded to assist with traffic control at 12:31 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 1:41 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A vehicle passing a school bus while the bus’s lights were activated was reported at 3:54 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 5:34 p.m. on Alvin Street in Blanchardville.
