DARLINGTON — A 21-year-old Platteville man faces child sexual assault charges.

Darlington police arrested Alexander Ortiz-Martinez in a Washington Street residence Aug. 29 after an investigation into a relationship he was having with a 13-year-old girl.

Ortiz-Martinez is tentatively charged with repeated acts of sexual assault of the same child. Charges had not been filed as of Friday, according to court records.

Ortiz-Martinez was also arrested on an outstanding warrant. He is in the Lafayette County Jail.
