On June 13:

● At approximately 7:47 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop for an observed traffic violation in the area of 500 block of E. Coates Avenue. As a result of the traffic stop, Anselmo Colorado Gonsalez, 43, of Beloit, was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license and operating a motor vehicle without an IID. Also, Anselmo posted bond on an active warrant through Beloit Police Department for OWI 3rd for failure to appear.

On July 29:

● At approximately 9:27 a.m., Officers received a report of suspicious activity in the 400 block of North Monroe Street. The investigation is ongoing.

On July 30:

● At approximately 12:59 p.m., Officers received a report of a hit and run accident in the 500 block of East Park Avenue. The owner decided not to pursue charges.

On August 1:

● At approximately 1:12 p.m., Officers responded to the 300 block of S. Main Street for a request from a citizen to keep the peace. Officers met with two parties and everything was OK.
