On November 15:

● At 10:15 a.m., officers arrested Ramon F. Urbina Ocana, 27, of Monroe, in the 700 block of 12th Avenue, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a probation violation. Urbina Ocana was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.

● At 5:05 p.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with reported injuries in the 2900 block of 13th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Sarah S. Holweg,61, of Rock City, IL, was turning west on the 13th Street from a business driveway when Holweg collided with a westbound vehicle operated by a Brodhead man. Holweg was transported by Green County EMS to the SSM Monroe Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed. Holweg was cited for failure to yield the right of way while emerging from a driveway and released pending a court appearance.

● At 8:27 p.m., officers conducted a traffic offense stop in the 1200 block of 22nd Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Arnold L. Hansen,51, of Brodhead, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Hansen was also cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (THC), and unnecessary acceleration. Hansen was booked and released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance. A passenger in the vehicle, Patricia J Baker, 43, of Ridott, IL, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department for a prior operating while intoxicated case. Baker was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On November 16:

● At 3:34 p.m., officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle that originated in the 100 block of West 8th Street. Officers observed the vehicle in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West and attempted to stop the vehicle for a traffic offense. The vehicle fled and a short pursuit ensued to the 100 block of CTH N. A passenger attempted to flee on foot but was arrested after a short foot pursuit. The passenger was identified as Aaron N. Mazahreh, 47,  of Monroe, as was charged with resisting arrest and seven (7) counts of felony bail jumping due to violations of bail conditions from prior cases. Mazahreh was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. The driver was identified as Brayden J. Mazahreh, 18, of Monroe, and was arrested on charges of felony fleeing an officer, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, and felony bail jumping. Brayden Mazahreh was also cited for operating while suspended, failure to maintain control of a vehicle, failure to stop for a stop sign, non-registration of a vehicle, display of unauthorized registration and operating without insurance. Mazahreh was also placed on a probation hold by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole and confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
