On February 2:

● At 4:33 p.m., officers on patrol observed an assault occurring in the 2000 block of 16th Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Ethan D. Strothman, 19, of Monroe, on charges of disorderly conduct and physical abuse of a child. Strothman was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

● At 9:06 p.m., officers arrested Nicolai K. Elsner Graves, 22, of Monroe, in the 300 block of 21st Street, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Elsner Graves was also cited for failure to properly maintain headlamps and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration. Elsner Graves was booked and released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.

On February 3:

● At 1:00 a.m., officers arrested Alexa K. Beutel, 33, of Argyle, following a traffic offense stop in the 1800 block of 12th Avenue. Beutel was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense and was also cited for operating with a suspended vehicle registration. Beutel was booked and released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.

On February 4:

● At 3:44 p.m., officers were called to a residence in the 2200 block of 14th Street for a complaint of a disorderly person. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Heidi H. Hume, 60, of Monroe, on charges of disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a telephone, resisting officers, attempted battery to law enforcement officers, making threats to law enforcement officers and attempted battery to health care provider. Hume was also arrested on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a probation violation. Hume was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On February 17:

● 7:20 a.m. Deputies responded to STH 11, Gratiot Township for a two vehicle accident with injuries. Ross M. Krogman, 39, Winslow was traveling eastbound on STH 11, in his 2023 International semi, when he struck a 2012 Chrysler, operated by Savanna R. Wood-Kendrick, 20, Rock Falls, IL when she failed to yield right of way at a stop sign. Krogman reported no injuries. Wood-Kendrick was airlifted to UW-Hospital for injuries that were sustained in the crash. Both Krogman’s 2023 International and Wood-Kendrick’s 2012 Chrysler received disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Gratiot Fire, Gratiot First Response, Green County EMS, Lafayette County EMS, UW Med Flight, and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted.

On February 19:

● 6:21 p.m. Taylor M Holder, 29, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on CTH I, New Diggings Township. No injuries were reported, and Holder’s 2019 Jeep received minor damage and was driven from the scene
