On January 8:

● 5:05 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Elk Grove Township for a two vehicle accident. Teagen E Averkamp, 19, Platteville was stopped at a stop sign in her 2021 Volkswagen when Gavtio E Atlahua-Aguas, 28, Belmont backed into her with his 2023 Ford. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles received minor damage and were driven from the scene. Atlahua-Aguas was cited for Unsafe Backing.

On January 9:

● 6:26 a.m. Todd M. Ritschard, 58, South Wayne reported striking a deer on CTH N, Wayne Township. No injuries were reported. Ritschard’s 2006 Buick received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On January 10:

● 6:08 p.m. Gregory R. Sporle, 55, Darlington was arrested on E North ST, City of Darlington on a valid Iowa County Warrant. Sporle was transported to Iowa County Jail where he was booked and remains.
