On December 4:

● 9:12 p.m. Deputies responded to Woodberry RD, Lamont Township for a domestic dispute. As a result, Jeremy L Davis, 43, Darlington was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct. Davis was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and posted bond.

On December 5:

● 12:12 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH F, Darlington Township for a one vehicle accident. Ross M Crist, 18, Darlington fell asleep while driving causing him to leave the roadway and enter a field where he came to rest. No injuries were reported. Crist’s 2004 GMC received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On December 6:

● 6:09 p.m. Michele C Crowley, 57, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 23, Willow Springs Township. No injuries were reported and Crowley’s 2021 Ford received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 7:

● 1:22 a.m. Maggie E. Ostby,17 , Monroe and her 15yr old passenger, reported striking a power pole on CTH J, Town of Benton. No injuries were reported and her 2004 Chevy Impala received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 6:43 a.m. Sarah C. Crist, 47, Mineral Point, reported striking a deer at the intersection of Ferndale Rd & Godfrey Rd, Town of  Willow Springs. Her 2020 Ford Explorer received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 10:04 a.m. Todd M. Flannery, 57, Monroe, reported a minor accident with Shelia A. Budd, 75, Argyle at the intersection of E Milwaukee St & N State St, Village of Argyle. Sheila was at the stop sign to turn left and Todd tried going alongside her to turn at the same time. Todd’s front left corner struck the rear right corner of Sheila’s vehicle. Both parties were able to drive away from the scene.

On December 8:

● 5:54 a.m. Deputies responded to STH 81, Seymour Township for a vehicle versus buggy accident. Jalen C Phillips, 26, Lena, IL was traveling eastbound on STH 81 in a 2022 Kia when he struck the left rear corner of the buggy. All occupants of the buggy, two adults and four children were ejected. The occupants of the buggy suffered only minor injuries. Two occupants were transported to Southwest Health in Platteville, where they were treated and released. The buggy sustained substantial damage and Phillips’ vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The two horses pulling the buggy were not injured. 

On December 9: 

● 5:35 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH Z, Darlington Township for a one vehicle accident. Nexer N Morazan-Lopez, 20, Darlington lost control of his vehicle causing it to rollover. No injuries were reported. Lopez’s 2010 Toyota received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Morazan-Lopez was cited for Failure to Maintain Control, Operating after Suspension, and Operating without Insurance. Lafayette County EMS, Darlington Fire Department, and Darlington Police assisted on scene.

● 5:54 a.m. Brittany A Loeffelholz, 37, Livingston reported striking a deer on STH 81, Darlington Township. No injuries were reported. Loeffelholz’s 2024 Nissan received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 11:

● 6:23 a.m. Deputies responded to Market ST in the Village of Belmont for disorderly conduct. Connor A Popp, 20, Belmont was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later posted bond.

● 5:29 p.m. Terry G Hawkinson, 53, Blanchardville reported striking a deer on Paulson RD, Blanchard Township. No injuries were reported and Hawkinson’s 2015 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 12:

● 4:39 a.m. Dennis M Spease, 53, Platteville reported striking a horse on CTH XX, Belmont Township. No injuries were reported and Spease’s 2008 GMC received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

● 8:33 p.m. Morgan D Godfrey, 25, Argyle reported striking a deer on STH 78, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported and Godfrey’s 2024 Subaru received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
