On March 2:

● 6:54 p.m. Joseph O Austin, 30, Monroe reported striking a deer on STH 11, Wayne Township. No injuries were reported. Austin’s 2018 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 7:04 p.m. Carson L Mosley, 18, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 23, Darlington Township. No injuries were reported. Mosley’s 2007 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 11:30 p.m. Matthew G Thompson, 19, Darlington was traveling on STH 81, Seymour Township where he was cited for Absolute Sobriety. Thompson was released to a responsible party.

On March 3:

● 11:54 a.m. Belmont Fire and Belmont EMS responded to Commerce ST, Village of Belmont for a down power line. A deputy assisted on scene. 

● 2:12 p.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to STH 81, City of Darlington for a tree that fell on a power line. Darlington Police assisted on scene.
