Police Blotter

On May 31:

● 11:03 a.m. A deputy responded to Spring ST in the Village of Belmont for theft.

● 3:38 p.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to CTH F, Fayette Township for a motorcycle accident. Ephraim K Fisher, 17, Gratiot was traveling westbound on CTH F maneuvering two horses pulling a wagon when Patrick W Boyle, 54, Darlington attempted to pass on his 1982 Harley. Fisher attempted to turn into a drive at the same time Boyle was passing and Boyle struck near the horses, and laid the motorcycle down. Fisher was uninjured and Boyle reported minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to the hospital. The motorcycle was towed from the scene with severe damage.

● 9:01 p.m. Pamela R Wymore, 61, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on Cub Hollow RD, Gratiot Township. No injuries were reported and Wymore’s 2018 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

● 10:09 p.m. Aaron J Wiegel, 49, Benton reported striking a deer on CTH O, White Oak Springs Township. No injuries were reported and Wiegel’s 2019 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

● 11:49 p.m. Argyle Fire responded to Hollandale to assist with a missing juvenile.

On June 1:

● 9:06 a.m. A deputy responded to Yellowstone Church RD, Blanchard Township for keep the peace.

● 11:51 a.m. A deputy responded to W Mound View AV in the Village of Belmont for a minor accident.

On June 2:

● 2:32 p.m. Deputies responded to Flogel LN, Belmont Township for check welfare. Shayla A Wiedmer, 26, Milwaukee was arrested for a Probation Warrant and transported to the Lafayette County Jail where she remains in custody.

On June 3:

● 10:15 a.m. Thomas A. Hardin, 70, Blanchardville reported striking a deer on STH 78, Argyle Township. Hardin reported no injuries. Hardin’s 2015 Toyota received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 1:40 p.m. Darlington Fire responded to CTH Z, Darlington Township for a dump truck on fire. A deputy and Darlington Police assisted.

● 8:00 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH XX, Belmont Township for trespassing.

● 9:10 p.m. Deputies assisted Darlington Police on Main ST in the City with a suspicious person.

On June 4:

● 4:46 a.m. Benton Fire and Benton First Response responded to STH 11, New Diggings Township for a truck fire. Deputies assisted.

● 7:04 p.m. A deputy responded to Ballard RD, Willow Springs Township for a domestic dispute. Dodgeville Police assisted.

● 7:39 p.m. A deputy responded to Water ST, Village of Benton for a domestic dispute. As a result, Rachel N. Foley, 35, Benton was arrested for Domestic Battery. Foley was transported to Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and later released after posting bond.

On June 5:

● 3:44 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Argyle Township for a vehicle in the ditch.

● 3:59 p.m. South Wayne First and Fire and Green County EMS responded to S Varnum ST in the Village for a fire.
