On November 15:

● Jeremy A Ball, 46, Warren, IL, was also arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Methamphetamine Paraphernalia.  He was also jailed pending a court appearance. 

On November 16:

● At approximately 11:03 p.m., Deputies along with Green County EMS, the Monroe Fire Department, and Monroe Police Officers responded to the N600 block of State Highway 69, Town of Clarno, for a report of a two vehicle accident. Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Juan A Barrios, 17, of Monroe was southbound on State highway 69 when he struck another southbound vehicle operated by Jada A Copeland, 20, of Freeport. Both Barrios and Copeland sustained injuries and were transported by EMS. Both Barrios aand Copeland reported wearing seatbelts and there was airbag deployment in Barrios’ vehicle. Both vehicle sustained disabling damages and were towed from the scene. 

On November 17:

● At approximately 1:19 p.m., Deputies responded to the N9300 block of State Highway 92, Town of Exeter, for a report of a single vehicle accident. Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Larry K Alcantara, 17, of Belleville was southbound on State Highway 91 when he experienced mechanical trouble. Alcantara’s vehicle entered the East ditch where his vehicle overturned. Alcantara denied injury, reported wearing his seatbelt, and airbags deployed within the vehicle. Alcantara’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. 

● At approximately 6:17 p.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the N6400 blk of CTH A, Town of Adams, for a report of a subject with a warrant. Deputies arrested Lonnie Severson, 56, of Monroe, on a warrant and probation/parole violation. Severson was transported to the Green County Jail and is currently being held.

On November 18:

● At 5:39 PM, Deputies responded to the W6900 block of CTH C, in the Town of Washington, where Dustin J. Olson, 35, of Monroe, was placed under arrest for Bail Jumping.   Olson was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court. 

On November 19:

● At 9:21 p.m., Deputies, along with Brodhead FD and Brodhead EMS, responded to the N4200 block of CTH E, in the Town of Decatur, for a single vehicle crash with no injuries.  The investigation found that the driver, Bryce R. Hughes, 18, of Brooklyn, was traveling northbound when he swerved to avoid a deer in the road.  Hughes then lost control of his vehicle, slid across the road and into the west ditch where his vehicle struck an electrical box and then came to a rest. Hughes advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt.  His vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Hughes was later cited for Driving Too Fast for Conditions and released pending court.  Brodhead PD assisted at the scene.

On November 20:

● At 12:23 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 69 and STH 81, Argyle interchange, Town of Monroe for a two vehicle accident. Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Quinn T Schultz, 23, of Monroe, was southbound on State Highway 81 when another vehicle operated by Connor J Novak, 24, of Browntown, was turning southbound onto STH 69 from the STH 11 off ramp and failed to see him.  Novak collided with Schultz’s vehicle. Schultz and Novak both denied injury, both reported wearing their seatbelts, and there was no airbag deployment in either vehicle. Schultz’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.  Novak’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Novak was cited for inattentive driving and released with a court date.
