On January 21:

● At 11:24 a.m., deputies along with Browntown FD and Green County EMS responded to a two vehicle crash with possible injuries in the N2300 block of Ullom Road, in the Town of Cadiz. Elijah D West, 20, Browntown, was stopped on the roadway when a northbound vehicle operated by Laura J Zeal, 68, Juda, collided with the stopped vehicle. Zeal reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. Her vehicle had multiple airbag deployments. Zeal’s passenger, Debra J Smothers, 69, Janesville, reported wearing her seatbelt and suffered suspected minor injuries. Zeal’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On January 24:

● At 8:29 a.m., Deputies responded to the W9400 block of White Oak Road, in the Town of Adams, for a two-vehicle crash. Harlan A. Flannery, 65 of Argyle, was traveling eastbound when he reportedly could not see out his windshield. Flannery’s vehicle then collided with a westbound vehicle operated by Cheryl L. Vonarx, 62 of Argyle. Flannery reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. There was no airbag deployment. Flannery’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Vonarx reported wearing her seatbelt but sustained minor injuries. There was no airbag deployment. Vonarx’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● At 10:07 a.m., Deputies responded to the Probation & Parole office, 2841 6th St, to take custody of Adrian M. Heydn, 32, of Brodhead, for a violation. Haydn was transported to the Green County Jail and was turned over to the jail staff.

On January 28:

● At 5:26 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH SS & Prairie Rd., in the Town of Decatur, for a reported single vehicle crash without injury. The investigation found that the driver, Emma C. Grosz, 17, of Albany, was traveling eastbound on CTH SS when she failed to negotiate a curve, entered the ditch, and then struck a fence. Grosz advised she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. Grosz’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Grosz being cited for Failure to Maintain Control of Vehicle and she was released pending court. 

On January 28:

● At 6:44 a.m., Deputies responded to the W8700 block of STH 81, in the Town of Jordan, for a reported two vehicle crash. The investigation found that a vehicle operated by Presley L. Granberg, 19, of Blanchardville, was stopped on CTH M and attempted to make a turn onto STH 81. Grandberg then pulled out in front of a westbound semi unit operated by Brian L. Senn, 54, of Monroe. Senn attempted to avoid a collision with Granberg but collided with the passenger side of her vehicle then entered a ditch and embankment, where the unit came to a rest. Granberg advised she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. Granberg’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Senn advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. The semi unit sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Granberg being cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way and was released pending court. 

● At 3:38 p.m., Deputies responded to the W600 block of STH 81, in the Town of Spring Grove, for a report of a vehicle that struck an object that fell from a semi’s trailer.  The investigation found that Tanner R. Tesmer, 27, of Warren was driving westbound on STH 81 behind a semi operated by Michael P. Wood, 44, of Zeeland, MI, when an object fell from the trailer striking the front bumper of Tesmer’s vehicle. Tesmer advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. Tesmer’s vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene. Wood advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. Wood’s vehicle sustained no damage or airbag deployment and was driven from the scene. 

On January 29:

● At 2:20 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to the registered owner not holding a valid driver’s license in the N5900 block of STH 69, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant. The investigation resulted in the driver, Dinuar Omar Salgado Villalta, 29, of Freeport, being cited for Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License. He was released to a valid driver with a court date.

On January 30:

● At 11:48 a.m., Green County Sheriff received a traffic complaint of an eastbound pickup passing numerous vehicles in the W600 block of STH 11, Town of Spring Grove. The vehicle was seen entering the City of Brodhead. A vehicle matching the description was located in the City of Brodhead, and was stopped after the driver squealed the tires while making a left turn from a stop sign. John Meier, 35, of Brodhead, was cited for Failure to Yield While Making a Left Turn, and for Operating After Suspension.  Meier was released to a valid driver, pending a court date.

On January 31:

● At 6:45 p.m., Deputies responded to the W5600 block of CTH C, in the Town of Washington, for a check welfare request on a motorist.  The investigation resulted in Charles D. Breunig, 47, of Darlington, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence (5th offense with a passenger under 16).  Breunig was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

● At 10:41 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the W5200 block of STH 11, in the Town of Monroe.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Rene Ivan Cruz Rios, 30, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence and cited for Speeding.  Cruz Rios was later released to a responsible party pending court.

On February 1:

● At 9:19 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N800 block of STH 69, in the Town of Clarno. The investigation resulted in the driver, Paul R. Lieb, 38, of Freeport, being cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and warned for speeding. Lieb was later released pending court.

On February 3:

● At 1:24 p.m., Deputies responded to the Probation & Parole office, 2841 6th St, City of Monroe. Michael B. Bowling, 28, of Monroe, was taken into custody, and transported to the Green County Jail where he was turned over to jail staff. Monroe Police Department assisted with this call.

● At 1:38 p.m. Bailiff Deputies arrested Edwardo Barrios Gomez, 21, Monroe, at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St, City of Monroe. Barrios Gomez was arrested on a  warrant for Failure to Report to Jail for an OWI jail sentence. He was transported to the Green County Jail where he was turned over to jail staff.

On February 8:

● At 10:10 a.m., Deputies were called to the Village of Albany for a check welfare request. The contact resulted in Johnathan P Chitwood, 54, Albany, being arrested for Attempt to Disarm a Peace Officer, Resist/Obstruct an Officer, and Disorderly Conduct. Chitwood was jailed pending a court appearance.

● At 8:33 p.m., Deputies observed a firecracker being thrown from a moving vehicle in the N7800 block of CTH X, Town of Exeter. Deputies stopped the vehicle and cited the driver, Brianna Lloyd, 19, Brooklyn, and the passenger, Johnathon Bagin, 19, Tomahawk, for Permitting Waste to Be Thrown From a Vehicle. Both were released with a non-mandatory court date.

On February 10:

● At 10:01 a.m., Deputies responded to the N5100 blk of CTH M, Adams Township, for a two vehicle crash. Investigation found that a vehicle operated by, Nathan T. Kindschi, 24, of Monroe, was traveling north on CTH M and slowing to turn into a private driveway. A second vehicle operated by, Kenyon B. Erickson, 31, of Argyle, was traveling north of CTH M. Erickson attempted to avoid the vehicle, but struck the rear end of Kindschi’s vehicle. Both advised they were not injured and were wearing seatbelts. Kindschi vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Erickson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Erickson was cited for failure to maintain control.

On February 16:

● At 12:39 p.m. deputies responded to the N7300 block of Wis. 104 in the Town of Brooklyn for a two vehicle crash. The investigation determined that a southbound vehicle driven by Ryan R. Boatman, 47, of Monroe attempted to pass a mail truck on the shoulder of the roadway. As Boatman was passing the mail truck driven by Chad M. Howard, 38, of Durand attempted to turn east into a driveway resulting in the vehicles colliding. Boatman was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt. His vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Howard was not injured, his vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. 

On February 17:

● At 614 p.m. deputies responded to the N5800 block of Peebles Road in the Town of Albany for a single vehicle crash.  The investigation determined that a southbound vehicle driven by Heather Dimmel, 36, of Albany left the roadway and collided with a tree.  Dimmel sustained injuries and was wearing her seatbelt, she refused treatment on scene.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. 

On February 18:

● At 3:11 a.m. deputies responded to the N500 block of County Hwy M in the Town of Cadiz for a single vehicle crash. The investigation determined that a southbound vehicle driven by Laroy Weekly Jr, 54, of Freeport lost control, leaving the roadway colliding with the ditch. Laroy and his passengers were not injured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. A passenger in the vehicle identified as Jayden Hughes, 24, of Freeport was arrested for a warrant issued by Sauk County Sheriff for Failure to Appear on an Obstructing Charge. Hughes was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Obstructing an Officer.  Hughes was jailed pending transfer to Sauk County. The Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit assisted in the investigation.

On February 20:

● At 11:27 p.m. deputies responded to the W6600 block of County Hwy Y in the Town of Monroe for a single vehicle crash. The preliminary investigation determined that a vehicle left the roadway, entered the ditch where it sustained damage.  The driver fled the scene without reporting the crash. Deputies subsequently towed the vehicle to the impound. Further investigation identified the driver as Jason Bauer, 46, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Bauer denied sustaining injuries in the crash and reported seatbelt use. 

On February 21:

● At 11:33 a.m. deputies responded to the WI DOC Probation Office at the request of probation agents to take a subject into custody. A deputy subsequently arrested Antonio Ramos, 20, of Albany for a Department of Corrections probation hold. Ramos was transported to jail where he was held pending further proceedings.  

On February 22:

● At 11:00 p.m. deputies responded to the N3100 block of State Hwy 81 in the Town of Monroe for a single vehicle crash. The investigation determined that a southbound vehicle driven by Bayron Ortez Martinez, 28 of Darlington exited the roadway and overturned. The vehicle came to a rest on its driver side. Ortez Martinez sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported by EMS to SSM Monroe Emergency Department  Ortez Martinez was wearing his seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Ortez Martinez was subsequently arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - 2nd offense. Ortez Martinez was cited for Operating while Revoked, Failure to Maintain Control and Open Intoxicants. Ortez Martinez was released for medical care pending court. 

On February 24:

● At 7:19 p.m. deputies responded to the W2300 block of County Hwy EE in the Town of Albany for a one vehicle crash. The investigation determined that Jenna Nelson, 27, of Janesville was eastbound when she lost control after entering the gravel shoulder. Nelson’s vehicle then entered the ditch. Nelson was not injured and was wearing her seatbelt. The air bags did not deploy in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Nelson was cited for Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control and Failure of Operator to Notify Police of Accident.

On February 25:

● At 7:19 p.m. deputies responded to the W2300 block of County Hwy EE in the Town of Albany for a one vehicle crash. The investigation determined that Jenna Nelson, 27, of Janesville was eastbound when she lost control after entering the gravel shoulder. Nelson’s vehicle then entered the ditch. Nelson was not injured and was wearing her seatbelt. The air bags did not deploy in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Nelson was cited for Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control and Failure of Operator to Notify Police of Accident.

On February 28:

● At 10:11 p.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the W7900 blk of West Point Rd, Town of Adams, for a domestic disturbance. Investigation resulted in, Cody W. Anderson, 34 of Monticello, being arrested for Disorderly Conduct (Domestic Related), False Imprisonment, Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Intoxicated Use of a Firearm. Anderson was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On March 4:

● At approximately 4:51 p.m., Deputies along with Browntown Fire and Green County EMS responded to the N2400 block of County Highway M, Town of Cadiz, for a report of a two vehicle accident. Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Michael S Trumble, 68, of Browntown, had initially been northbound on Cadiz Springs Rd. Trumble lost control of the vehicle, entered the ditch and struck a fence. Trumble continued driving West on Smock Valley Rd and then South on County Highway M where he struck another vehicle operated by Michael A King, 43, of McConnell. Trumble and King sustained injuries as a result of the collision. King reported wearing his seatbelt.Trumble and King’s vehicles sustained disabling damages with no airbag deployment in either. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. As a result, Trumble was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence-1st offense. Trumble was released to a responsible party.

On March 5:

● At 12:47 PM, Deputies responded to the W300 block of Rockhill Rd., in the Town of Spring Grove, for a theft complaint. The investigation resulted in Harvey F. Pribble, 59, of Brodhead being placed under arrest for Theft of Movable Property and Criminal Damage to Property.   Pribble was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court. 

On March 8:

● At 12:02 p.m., BHPD assisted with a one vehicle crash in the N3700 block of Park Road, in the Town of Decatur. A vehicle operated by Brady L Flannery, 18, of Brodhead was northbound on Park Road when he lost control, left the roadway, and struck a tree. Brady reported wearing his seatbelt and sustained non-life threatening injuries. There was airbag deployment, the vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
