On January 6:
● At 10:22 a.m., Isidoro Garcia Hernandez, 29, Brodhead was stopped for speeding in the N2200 block of CTH K, Town of Clarno. He was cited for speeding and Operate Without a Valid DL. He was released pending a court appearance.
● At 5:18 p.m., Deputies and New Glarus PD responded to a single vehicle crash in the W6400 block of CTH H, Town of New Glarus. Jeanine H Krueger, 62, Monticello, was eastbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Jeanine reported wearing a seatbelt, and a possible injury. The vehicle was towed due to disabling front end damage and airbag deployment.
On January 8:
● At 12:36 p.m., Deputies responded to the N2600 blk of CTH S, Town of Sylvester, and took Brett Kohl, 40, of Monroe, into custody on a warrant issued by Probation and Parole. Kohl was transported to the Green County Jail.
On January 10:
● At 2:53 a.m., Deputies responded to the W2600 blk of Greenbush Rd, Town of Sylvester, for a crash with injuries. Carlitos C. Torres, 18, of Oregon, advised he slid on some ice, left the roadway, and struck a power pole. Torres sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The vehicle had full airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. Torres was cited for failure to keep the vehicle under control. Alliant Energy, Green County EMS and Juda FD assisted at the scene.
On January 11:
● At 2:03 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speeding violation in the W5700 block of CTH C. Debra K. Raisbeck, 59 of Argyle, was cited for speeding and Possession of Open Intoxicants in a MV as a Driver. Raisbeck was released pending a court appearance.
● At 5:30 p.m., Deputies responded to a welfare check in the W6200 block of Tucker Rd, Town of Washington. Amanda L Parsons, 43, of Monticello, was given a mandatory summons to court for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting an Officer. She was released pending the court appearance.
On January 12:
● At 10:13 a.m., Deputies responded to W1200 block of Ten Eyck Rd, Town of Decatur, for a cell phone crash detection call. Keith Meier, 62, Brodhead, was westbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway, striking a ditch. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, but there was no airbag deployment. Meier and his passenger reported wearing their seatbelts and were uninjured. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
● At 12:15 p.m., Deputies responded to a disturbance in the W2200 block of CTH EE, in the Town of Albany. The investigation revealed a verbal and physical altercation occurred between spouses, Cynthia T Zeratsky, 64, and Arthur J Zeratsky, 62. The investigation resulted in charges for domestic related disorderly conduct for both parties being referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
