On December 15:

● At 4:57 a.m., deputies responded to a one vehicle crash in the N5500 block of Walnut Road, Town of Washington. Daniel R Prien, 19, Monroe was eastbound on Buckskin Road, when he lost control of his vehicle, due to road conditions. The vehicle then went off the roadway onto Walnut Road, and struck a tree. Daniel reported not wearing his seat belt, and was injured. There was airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● At 7:04 p.m., deputies, along with Green County EMS and Browntown Fire Department responded to a crash in the N2100 block of Allen Rd, Town of Cadiz. Ronald Norris, 81, Browntown, was northbound when his vehicle left the west side of the roadway, traveled down an embankment, and crashed into the creek. Ronald was wearing his seat belt and sustained injuries. He was transported to a local hospital via ambulance. Ronald’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, and had airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene. 

On December 16:

● At 5:05 a.m., Deputies responded to a  single vehicle crash in the W8700 block of STH 39, in the Town of York. An investigation revealed that a vehicle operated eastbound by Maljorie D. Lopez, 18, of Darlington, hit loose gravel on the roadway and lost control. The vehicle entered the ditch, striking the embankment, and coming to rest in the south ditch. Lopez reported that she was not injured, was wearing her seat belt and airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Lopez was cited for Operating w/o a valid driver’s license and operating w/o insurance. Lopez was verbally warned for failure to maintain control.

On December 20:

● At 12:33 p.m., Deputies responded to the N6500 block of CTH N, in the Town of Washington, for a reported two vehicle crash without injuries. The investigation found that Rudenko O. Phipps, 43, of Newport News, VA, was traveling northbound and began turning into a nearby parking lot. George M. Ellis, 44, of Freeport, was traveling northbound behind Phipps and later collided with the trailer Phipps was hauling. Phipps and Ellis advised they were both wearing their seatbelts and were uninjured. Ellis’ vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Phipps’ vehicle sustained no damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.  

● At 6:22 p.m., Deputies, along with Albany EMS and Albany FD, responded to the 300 block of E. Main St., in the Village of Albany, for a reported ATV crash with injury. The investigation found that Justin W. Hartwig, 39, of Albany, was traveling westbound when the ATV lost traction due to snow and ice on the road. The ATV then slid into the eastbound lane, where it overturned.  The ATV sustained minor damage and was removed from the scene. Hartwig was not wearing a helmet or eye protection and was later transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.  

● At 7:41 p.m., Deputies responded to the W4000 block of CTH W, in the Town of Exeter, where James M. Doyle, 38, was placed under arrest for an active Arrest Warrant through the Department of Corrections. Doyle was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court. 

On December 21:

● At 4:04 a.m., Deputies responded to the N8800 block of Poplar Grove Rd. for a reported single vehicle crash with no injuries. The driver, Cade S. Howell, 23, of New Glarus, advised he was traveling southbound when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the ditch. Howell advised he was wearing his seat belt at the time of incident and he was uninjured. Howell’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
