On July 17:

● At approximately 1:45 p.m., Deputies responded to the N6800 block of County Highway X, Town of Albany, for a report of a two vehicle accident with injuries. Investigations found that a vehicle driven by Thomas Erbs, 65, Darlington, was negotiating a curve, northbound, when he crossed over the centerline and struck another vehicle operated by Scott Best, 66, Albany. Erbs reported no injury, no airbag deployment, and no seatbelt use. Erbs vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Best reported injury, no airbag deployment, and was wearing his seatbelt. Best’s vehicle was driven from the scene. Erbs was cited for failure to maintain control and released pending a future court date. 

On July 19:

● At 1:57 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N7000 block of STH 69, in the Town of Washington. The investigation resulted in the driver, Adam J. Marty, 24, New Glarus, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence. Marty was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Speeding. Marty was later released pending court.

● At 1:55 p.m., Deputies responded to the N2900 block of STH 69, in the Town of Monroe, for a two-vehicle crash without injury. The investigation found that Adrian J. Sweeney, 19, South Wayne, turned southbound on STH 69 from STH 11 when he collided with another vehicle driven by Samantha L. Redick, 23, Monroe. Sweeney and Redick advised they were uninjured and wearing their seatbelts at the time of incident. Both vehicles involved sustained functional damage, without airbag deployment, and were driven from the scene. The investigation resulted in Sweeney being cited for Unsafe Lane Deviation and he was released pending court.

On July 20:

● At 12:05 a.m., Deputies responded to the 1000 block of W. 2nd Ave., in the City of Brodhead, for a reported disturbance. An investigation resulted in Edmond W. Ellis, 24, Brodhead, being placed under arrest for Strangulation & Suffocation, False Imprisonment, Intimidation of a Victim, Battery, and Disorderly Conduct, falling under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws. Ellis was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
