Monroe Fire
MONROE — An electrical issue with a ceiling fan was reported at about 11:30 p.m. June 23 in the 1700 block of 20th Avenue. No damage was reported. Responding firefighters assisted with cleaning out the fan, which had an accumulation of dust.
● A smell of something burning was reported at about 7 a.m. June 24 in the garage at the Green County Sheriff’s Office, 2827 6th St. The source of the smell was not located and there was no fire.

● Belmont EMS responded at 12:11 a.m. to Dawn Vista Drive in Belmont.
● Belmont EMS responded at 3:13 p.m. to U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. A deputy assisted on scene.
On June 20:
● South Wayne First Response and Green County EMS responded at 8:47 a.m. to Wayne Center Road, Town of Wayne.
● Benton First Response responded at 1:19 p.m. to Wis. 11 in Grant County to assist the Grant County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic accident.
● Benton First Response and Cuba City EMS responded at 11 p.m. to County J, Town of Benton. A deputy assisted on scene.
● Shullsburg EMS responded at 11:22 p.m. to West Estey Street in Shullsburg.
On June 21:
● Smoke in the ceiling of a residence was reported at 1:28 p.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle. The Argyle Fire Department and Argyle EMS responded. There was no reported damage.

● Gratiot First Response and Green County EMS of Darlington responded at 7:05 p.m. to Oak Street in Gratiot.
On June 23:
● Green County EMS of Darlington responded at 2:48 p.m. to Washington Street in Darlington.
On June 24:
● A smoking transformer was reported at 7:07 p.m. on East Lamont Road, Town of Lamont. The Argyle Fire Department responded.
