Monroe Fire
MONROE — A fire at the back loading dock of W&W Dairy on 3rd Street North was reported at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 30. A contractor repairing equipment was using a torch to burn off a bolt when the flame caught the loading dock bumper on fire. The fire spread to the building, behind some aluminum siding and up into a wall. Firefighters were on scene just under two hours extinguishing the fire and using a thermal imaging camera to ensure the fire was out in the wall. No injuries were reported.

DARLINGTON — Benton First Response and Hazel Green EMS responded to County W, Town of New Diggings, at 2:55 p.m. Sunday, July 28. A deputy assisted on scene.
● Shullsburg EMS responded to West Harrison Street in Shullsburg at 4:12 a.m. Monday, July 29.
On Tuesday, July 30:
● Argyle EMS responded at 1:26 a.m. to Galena Street in Argyle. A deputy assisted on scene.
● Blanchardville EMS responded at 1:37 p.m. to Lake Road, Town of Fayette. Blanchardville police assisted.
● Belmont EMS responded at 7:30 p.m. to South Mound Avenue in Belmont.
● A barn fire was reported at 10:35 p.m. at 12491 W. Riverside Rd., Town of Gratiot. The Gratiot Fire Department and Gratiot First Response responded. Fire departments from Darlington, Wiota and Warren assisted, as did a deputy and Green County EMS of Darlington. No injuries or loss of livestock were reported.
On Wednesday, July 31:
● Argyle EMS responded at 9:38 a.m. to Galena Street in Argyle. A deputy assisted on scene.
● Belmont EMS responded at 4:33 p.m. to Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. Southwest Health EMS and a deputy assisted on scene.
On Thursday, Aug. 1:
● The Darlington Fire Department and Darlington EMS responded at 7:30 p.m. to West River Street in Darlington for power lines on a vehicle. Darlington police assisted on scene.
