MONROE — Rock County authorities have charged a Brodhead woman reportedly driving with two flat tires with her fifth impaired driving charge, a felony.
The arrest came from a traffic stop on June 6, just after 6:30 p.m. That’s when Rock County deputies were advised of such a vehicle traveling west on Wis. 81 near South Nelson Road in the Town of Avon, according to a statement from the Rock County Sheriff’s department.
“The vehicle was reported to be driving all over the road, then stopped in the middle of the road,” said the statement. “The vehicle continued westbound and struck a mailbox in the 18000 block of West State Highway 81.”
Once they got to the scene, deputies said 56-year-old Kimberly Love of Brodhead showed signs of impairment and was arrested for OWI. Love, police said, has three prior OWI convictions in Wisconsin and one in Indiana making the new charge her fifth offense.
