Felonies

●  Kristine Kay Jambrek, 52, Monticello, pleaded no contest March 12 to a fourth-offense charge of operating while intoxicated, a Class H felony, and was sentenced to 90 days in jail and three years on probation, with the condition that she undergo treatment for alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA). She is allowed Huber release privileges from jail for work, treatment and counseling. She owes the court $1,548. Her license is revoked 25 months. The case stems from a rollover crash July 6 on County N, Town of Monroe. Jambrek was taken by ambulance from the scene for treatment of injuries.

●  Jordan A. Pryce, 20, Monroe, pleaded guilty March 20 to a Class H felony count of possessing THC with intent to distribute, downgraded from a Class G felony, and a Class I felony count of maintaining a drug-trafficking place. A misdemeanor count of possessing drug paraphernalia was dismissed as part of a plea deal. He was sentenced to three years on probation, with conditions that he maintain absolute sobriety and undergo treatment and counseling for alcohol and other abuse (AODA). He was assessed $1,036 in fines and fees. He is eligible to have the convictions expunged from his record under a state law that grants leniency to young offenders. The case is the result of an investigation by the Stateline Area Narcotics Team (SLANT) in coordination with the U.S. Postal Service. Court records indicate Pryce received a package containing two pounds of marijuana at his home in the 1500 block of 13th Avenue via U.S. mail, and a search of the residence Dec. 21 turned up marijuana, a metal grinder, glass smoking devices, two scales, sandwich baggies and about $1,000 in cash. He reportedly told police he ordered the marijuana over the phone from a friend in Washington and usually ordered one package per month. At his sentencing, the court ordered that his seized property be forfeited.

Misdemeanors

●  Karessa Jayne Patterson, 35, Monroe, pleaded no contest March 20 to two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and had her deferred prosecution agreement revoked on a previous misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing an officer. She was sentenced to one year on probation, with a 45-day jail sentence imposed and stayed. Conditions of her probation include completing all ordered treatment and counseling and no possession or consumption of alcohol. She is allowed to possess alcohol during the course of her employment at a local banquet hall and catering company. The charges stem from arrests in Monroe Sept. 13 and Jan. 20, according to police reports. In both cases, Patterson was found drinking in a parked vehicle, in violation of court-ordered bond conditions that she not drink.
