● Spring M. Everingham, 43, Beloit, was charged Dec. 17 with five felony counts of bail jumping and five misdemeanor counts of retail theft. Her co-defendant, Gregory Vincent Barrett, 57, Beloit, is charged with five misdemeanor counts of retail theft and five misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Warrants were issued for their arrests. The criminal complaint indicates they shoplifted from the Monroe Walmart five times between September and November, stealing meat and other foods, laundry detergent, toilet paper, beer, rugs, a winter jacket, a cardigan sweater and comforters. Walmart’s loss prevention associate indicated to police that Barrett and Everingham are “known shoplifters” and have been banned from Walmart stores after stealing from the Beloit Walmart.
