MONROE — A registered sex offender who was alleged to have molested victims he knew, including a 20-year-old woman and child, pleaded guilty in Green County Circuit Court Nov. 22 to a single felony charge of child enticement/sexual contact.
He was sentenced to three years in prison by Circuit Judge Thomas J. Vale.
Galindo is a registered sex offender who had been convicted of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child nearly two decades ago, according to court records. He is required to register for life as a sex offender.
The case was brought following results of a police investigation launched in 2021.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Green County Circuit Court, Isreal Galindo, 42, was initially charged in that incident with first-degree child sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault; and two counts of third-degree sexual assault.
“The Court orders the defendant to initial incarceration for a period of 3 years followed by 5 years of extended supervision with the conditions being; Lifetime registration and compliance with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry Program, pay costs of the action and to have No Contact with the victims or their families,” the sentence reads, according to court records. “Sentence is to run consecutive to any other sentence being served and his Texas sentence.”
In 2018, he pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge after police allege he was caught peering into a teen girl’s bedroom window in Rock County. According to published reports, the girl’s father noticed the suspicious activity outside the window, confronted and engaged in a brief fight with Galindo.
The father reportedly held the suspect until police arrived and arrested him for trespassing and disorderly conduct.
