MONROE - The fourth annual Green County Premier Exhibitor contest was held recently at the 2014 Green County Fair. The event is designed to recognize 4-H and FFA members who have shown exceptional involvement and knowledge in their respective project area.
The Premier Exhibitor contest was open to any exhibitor in the areas of swine, dairy, beef, sheep and goats. The contest was divided into two age divisions - the junior division was for exhibitors in grades third through eighth and the senior division being for exhibitors in grades nine and up.
During the event, contestants participated in showmanship, a skill-a-thon, and took a 35-point knowledge quiz.
