ALBANY - The Albany Community Center is hosting a re-sale event from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 5 in the Albany High School Gym, 400 5th St.
Individuals who are interested in selling their own items at the event can rent a 10-foot by 10-foot booth for $10. There could be 31 booths at the event, which will be held rain or shine. All profits from the rentals will support the Hooked on Fishing event on Saturday, June 2 in Albany. For an additional $5, participants can leave any unsold items in an orderly fashion for us to donate. This fee must be pre-paid.
Participants are responsible for the following:
- For setting up their items from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 4.
- For providing their own tables, shelving, etc.
- For keeping someone at their booth from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
- For maintaining all cash/change for their sales.
- For packing up any unsold items and cleaning their booth area of all garbage.
Items that cannot be sold or swapped during the event are animals, firearms, hazardous materials, obscene materials, alcohol, tobacco or any illegal substances.
Checks can be made out to Albany Community Center and sent to Albany School, 400 5th St., Albany, WI 53502.
