MONROE - The Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, in coordination with Green County, the City of Monroe, and University of Wisconsin-Extension, is hosting a community meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the UW-Extension Office

Over the next few months several community meetings will be held on each of the seven topics in the City of Monroe's Comprehensive Plan Update (2025).

The second housing meeting will look to adopt a topic vision and create several new goals, objectives and strategies for the plan update.

Victoria Solomon, a Community Resource Development Educator for the UW-Extension Office, will be guiding and moderating the meeting. Any Monroe resident interested in the future of housing in Monroe is encouraged to participate and attend.
