JANESVILLE - Barbara Barrington-Tillman, chair of the Blackhawk Technical College Board of Trustees, announced on Wednesday the formation of a presidential search committee tasked with identifying and recommending candidates to succeed BTC President Dr. Thomas Eckert.
Eckert announced in September that he will step down as president at the end of the current academic year.
One person serving on the committee is Michael Johnson, executive director of the Green County Development Corporation. The 15-member committee is comprised of three board members, three BTC employees and nine external members from Rock and Green counties.
