MONROE - Monroe's spring two-day citywide garage sales will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 12 and 13. They will include all of Monroe and will be held regardless of weather.
To register to participate, complete a registration form and submit it with the $10 registration fee to the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 1505 9th St., Monroe. Forms are available at Monroe Pick 'n Save, Piggly Wiggly, the Monroe Chamber and online at www.monroechamber.org.
The deadline to register is 4 p.m. May 4; meeting that deadline will assure inclusion on the city garage sale map. Maps listing all registered sellers will be available May 10.

Sellers may choose five categories from the spring sales category index key. The descriptions of categories allow sellers to advertise their merchandise on the map. The letters will represent different categories of merchandise at each location.
