MONROE - At a meeting Tuesday, the City of Monroe Salary and Personnel Committee:
• Met in closed session to discuss candidates and compensation for Wastewater Utility Superintendent position.
• Passed a motion to continue advertising for candidates to fill the vacant Wastewater Utility Superintendent position.
• Discussed and dismissed the present need to hire an outside firm to sign state required WWTP reports.
• Discussed and approved hiring two part-time seasonal snow removal personnel for airport, to be paid on an as-needed basis.
