MONROE - In a meeting Wednesday, the City of Monroe Salary and Personnel Committee:
• Met in closed session to discuss candidates and compensation for Wastewater Utility Superintendent position.
• In open session, Chairman directed City Clerk Carol Stamm to make arrangements to schedule on Feb. 23 interviews with five candidates for the Wastewater Utility Superintendent position .
• Recommend to council to approve a revised resolution clarifying paid, on-call firefighter benefits and workers compensation insurance.
• Approved hiring seasonal summer employees for Parks and Recreation Department
