MONROE - In a meeting Monday, the City of Monroe Public Safety Committee:
• Recommended approval of a special event for Carenet Pregnancy Center of Green County Walk for Life, May 8 from 8 a.m. to noon.
• Approved marking a section of the 2200 Block of 5th Street a no parking zone.
• Approved a no parking zone during the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the 1700 block of 12th Street, near Wisconsin Cheese Group. The zone will be used as a staging area for milk trucks waiting to unload.
