MONROE - In a meeting Tuesday, the City of Monroe License Committee:
• Recommended to Council to approve a "Class A" liquor and fermented malt beverage license for Aldi, Inc., on a 2-1 vote. Alderman Charles Koch voted against the recommendation.
• Recommended to Council to approve Temporary Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage License in conjunction with outdoor beer garden for Knights of Columbus at Green County Fair, on a 2-1 vote. Koch voted against.
• Recommended to Council to approve Temporary Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage licenses for Green County Pork Producers and for the American Legion, on a 2-1 vote. Koch voted against.
