MONROE - In a meeting Wednesday, the City of Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee postponed action, awaiting more information, on changes to an ordinance effecting parts of the Monroe City Code: Signs in Industrial Districts. The issue will be taken up with City Building Inspector Rex Henke at the next meeting Oct. 21. Because of the delay, the public hearing on the ordinance change, originally scheduled for Nov. 3, will be postponed as well.
