MONROE - In a meeting Tuesday, the City of Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee:

• Postponed a review of an ordinance creating and revising definitions in Section 5-2-1, repealing and recreating Section 5-4-2(F), creating Sections 5-9-5 and 5-10-4, and repealing and recreating Section 5-10.5-9 of the Monroe City Code: Signs in Industrial Districts. The postponement was due to illnesses of city employees who could not meet with City Attorney Rex Ewald to go over the changes.

• Postponed discussing a draft ordinance regarding parking and parking enforcement. Mayor Ron Marsh said the county's Property Committee wanted to discuss the issue before the city proceeded. The county owns the inner ring of the Square, which is to be included in the city's parking enforcement plan.
