At the National Historic Cheesemaking Center stand at Cheese Days, 90 pounds of butter and 13 gallons of secret sauce.
"It's pretty messy in there," Glenda Buholzer said. She and her crew inside the stand grossed $13,053 on sandwiches and water during Cheese Days.
It was a bang-up weekend all around for sales and attendance.
"If you ask me, the crowds this year were at least double what we had here in 2010," said Noreen Rueckert, coordinator of the event. "With changes we made to evening entertainment, the crowds stayed around on the Square in the evenings, whereas in the past things would quiet down."
