MONROE - Nomination papers for Green County sheriff, clerk of courts and coroner were due at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Only three people filed nomination papers for the positions, according to the Green County Clerk Mike Doyle.
Incumbent Carol Thompson will seek another term as clerk of court.
Green County Deputy Coroner Kris Hasse will be the only candidate for coroner. Green County Coroner Jan Perry decided not to seek another term.
Green County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Jeff Skatrud is running for sheriff. Sheriff Randy Roderick announced in April that he wouldn't seek another term.
