What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?
I cannot think of any major issues that the town is currently facing, as the previous town board has done a very good job for many years making wise decisions and spending the towns funds where the funds were needed most.
What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?
An upcoming issue that will need to be addressed in the near future is the condition of the existing town garage that houses the towns equipment. The garage will need some major repairs or possible replacement due to its age and poor condition.
Why are you the best candidate for this office?
I am running for this position as I have been part of the town board for the past 8 years. I had the privilege of working under the leadership of Alois Mayer, who had been a member of this town board for the past 47 years. It means a lot to me to keep the town running in the same condition as Alois had left it, as the town has one of the lowest mill rates in the county. I will do my best for everyone that lives in the town and will make wise and informed decisions to the best of my ability. The Town of Monroe has a network of individuals of many talents that work great together and I look forward to working with these individuals to keep the town going in a positive direction.
