What are the top issues facing this board/council and how would you resolve them?
We have to get the fire department back on track. Brodhead has had a very good fire department for a lot of years. The last few years we have had some friction in the department. Now we have to get every one back on the same page, but it will take some time.
We have to keep working with ShopKo as we can have a new store in Brodhead.
I would like to see some movement on the sidewalks issue, but with the economy like it is that will be a tough one.
We had the old library for sale, but if we can't sell it I would like to see the Senior Center move in to that
location. It is handicapped accessible and that would give them more room.
