What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?

One of the top issues facing us at the present time is the health of our residents, the quality of our environment with water quality being foremost in our minds. At the present time we are working to establish a moratorium for Green Co. to protect our residents and the environmental issues for the good of every one of our citizens. It is essential to protect the livelihood of all of our residents also. We need to protect our business industries whether they are in the city or our beautiful farms in the county. Green Co. is in a special part of Wisconsin. We are in a part of the state that is gifted with an abundant supply of ground water. It is in the best interest of everyone to protect our soils and our water quality.

What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?

Currently a new Human Services building is being constructed. We are working to get the Ag and Extension program restructured. A new Ag agent is being sought to replace Mark Mayer's position. A Family Living agent position is being filled in a shared 60/40 position with Lafayette Co. At the present time it looks like these issues are working out well.
