What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?
Number one issue is our deteriorating roads. The only thing our community can do is maintain them as best as possible. The only way to do that is layout a well-thought-out plan to do that, and then follow through with the plan.
The next thing we need to do is find better ways to take care of those roads. We have to find more efficient ways to clear brush and trees, mow grass and plow roads. I am always looking for more cost effective solutions.
What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?
Make rational, thought out decisions and proposals
I have 40 plus years' experience doing this type of work in business, I am highly analytical and always look at issues in their entirety.
Make our meetings and actions of our Town Board more transparent and involve the community more in major decisions.
To do this I would expand our email list and send out our proposals for review and comments before carrying out the proposals.
Why are you the best candidate for this office?
The current supervisors have made extremely poor and ill-thought-out decisions for the past two years. This has led to everything costing more and getting less for our money.
My qualification: 40 years' experience in:
Chairing meetings
Managing people and working on Project teams
Planning and implementation of projects
Budgeting
I'm a firm believer in civic responsibility and community service. I have donated my time at the Recycling Center, road work, repairs to the Town Hall and election pole worker. The salary for this position will be donated back to the Cadiz budget.
