Accurate record keeping, sound book keeping techniques and accessibility to such entities as banking and financial institutions are critical. Monthly account reconciliation and reporting is a necessary function. Accomplishing these tasks on a weekly and monthly basis is necessary for the financial stability and accountability of the Township.
What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?
Future challenges include the promotion of residential and business growth within the Township, which will result in increased tax base and revenue needed to fund current and future projects. The hard working residents of the Town of Albany deserve responsible and trustworthy accountability of the tax dollars entrusted to their elected officials.
