Age: 37
Address: W1946 Purintun Road, Albany
Family: Wife, Stephanie; stepson, Drew; expecting baby
Education: High school diploma, associate's degree in civil engineering
Occupation: Project Leader for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. (Manage road construction projects)
Previous elected positions held: None
Community involvement: I grew up in Albany and graduated from Albany High School in 1993. I actively farm in the Albany area with my uncle. I try to support local community groups, such as the Albany Lions, as much as I can. In the past I have helped behind the scenes with the high school basketball teams. When I can, I try to referee for the Albany Junior Comet League.
What are the top issues facing this board/council and how would you resolve them?
In these tight economic times, I am sure one of the top issues is the budget. Being a state employee, I have had to learn to do "more with less" and I am hoping that I can carry my strong common sense approach over to a position on the Albany School Board. I hope to have a positive influence on the education and learning environment of our youth, and continue to be a proud resident of the community.
