JUDA - Green County Sheriff Deputies are still looking for a Juda man who went missing last week, Green County Sheriff Randy Roderick said.
Steven R. Swart, 54, was last seen Feb. 5 or Feb. 6.
Roderick said the Sheriff's department used a cadaver dog Wednesday from the Dane County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit to try to locate Swart. Roderick said the dog was used due to the fact there was a lot of snow last week and efforts to find Swart have been unsuccessful.
Roderick said this is the first time he can remember calling in a cadaver dog to look for a missing person.
The Green County Highway Department was also called to clear Swart's driveway and areas of the road around his driveway.
Swart was not found, however.
Deputies will continue to investigate and try to interview more people who are familiar with Swart to try to locate him.
Roderick said he doesn't suspect any foul play.
Deputies responded to a missing person complaint Monday at Swart's residence at N1649 County K and found his vehicle in the garage and no one at the residence. Deputies talked to family members, neighbors and friends and discovered that no one had been in contact with Swart since last week.
Swart is 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds, He has brown hair and wears glasses.
Anyone with information about Swart can contact the Green County Sheriff's Department at 328-9400.
