MONROE - Care Net Pregnancy Center of Green County announced the addition of a new Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist and Social Media Specialist to join Anna Anderson, executive director, at the Monroe office.
Anne Angel, hired on a part-time basis, will be offering youth and community education with the public health message that saving all sexual activity for one life-time partner is the healthiest choice for a successful life. Teens will be encouraged to set goals for their future and think about the steps that will take them there.
Leesa Worden, social media specialist, volunteers her time freely, has been trained as a peer coach and also brings a lot of technical savvy to the organization. She is already creating and updating Facebook and web pages, which will extend awareness of the services at Care Net.
The Care Net Pregnancy Center of Green County is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
