NEW GLARUS - The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank branches announced the promotion of Joe Klein to senior vice president of commercial lending. In his new role, Klein will be responsible for overseeing the bank's commercial and agricultural loan portfolio. He also will continue his role as a commercial lender in the Monroe market.
Klein has served 26 years in banking for the Monroe community, where he has performed various roles in both the lending and deposit sides of bank operations. He joined The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank branches in 2009 as a vice president of commercial lending, and played a key role in opening the Monroe branch of The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank branches.
