Under Special Reports, the Student Representative to the District Board will present a report on student activities.
The topic under District Board Professional Development will be Contract Training Overview.
Under Information/Discussion, the Financial Statement will be reviewed, the President will give his monthly report, an update will be shared on the Public Safety & Transportation Training Center project, any updates on the WTCS Consortium will be provided, and finally an update on the Master Facilities Plan.
The District Board will be requested to approve the consent agenda, which includes approval of the minutes of the regular meeting held on February 17, 2021, approval of current bills, and approval of training contracts negotiated since the last meeting.
Under Action Items, approval will be requested of the following: Resolution Suspending the Foundation’s 5-Year MOU; Award of Contract for PSTC Vehicle Operations Track Construction; Resolution Authorizing the Issuance of $7.5 Million in General Obligation Promissory Notes, Series 2021A, of Blackhawk Technical College District; Sale of the Center for Transportation Studies (CTS); Lease for the Center for Transportation Studies (CTS); and approval of the second reading of the following policies: B-245 — District Board Member Expenses; B-250 New District Board Member Orientation; B-260 District Board Committees; B-280 Advisory Committees; B-325 Quorum and Voting; B-400 College Policy Adoption, Amendment & Suspension; B-410 College Review Policy; B-500 Participation on Local-Decision Making; B-900 District Board Self-Evaluation and District Board Policies: D-200 Annual Budget; and D-280 Budget Management and Transfers.
Under New Business, the first reading of nine (9) revised and new District Board Policies and Procedures: B-216 Legal Counsel; B-240 District Board Member Education; B-260 District Board Committees; B-410 College Policy Review; B-160.1 District Board Conduct Reporting; B-400.1 Policy Adoption, Amendment & Suspension; B-400.2 Procedure Adoption, Amendment & Suspension; D-300 Fiscal Management; and D-310 Tax Increment Finance Districts.
