KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Craig Edler, a dairy farmer from Browntown, was re-elected to serve on Dairy Farmers of America, Inc.'s (DFA) board of directors, representing the cooperative's central area. He will serve a two-year term.
Edler is a former DFA Young Cooperator and represents DFA on the Environmental Protection Agency Dairy Task Force and the Wisconsin Animal Identification Consortium. Edler also is a member of Wisconsin's Dairy Business Association.
Edler has been in the dairy business for 37 years. He operates a 550-cow dairy, farm 1,400 acres of crops, and owns and operates a milling company and a manure-injection business. He also is general manager of a 900-head heifer-raising operation.
