Brodhead woman moves toward trial in child abuse case

MONROE - The case of a Brodhead woman charged with child abuse will proceed to trial after the woman waived her preliminary hearing Thursday. Angela AnnMarie Kazar, 25, stood mute on a Class I felony charge of child abuse at what would have been her preliminary hearing. After Kazar waived her right to the hearing, a pre-trial conference was scheduled for Aug. 2.
