KNAPP TOWNSHIP - A Brodhead woman was killed following an all-terrain vehicle versus a motor vehicle crash at about 4:15 p.m. Saturday on Fish Creek Road in Knapp township, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
Karen Gibson, 60, and a female juvenile, were on the ATV at the time of the crash. The child sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the motor vehicle, Phillip J. Holloway, 23, Warrens, was taken into custody and is being held at the Jackson County Jail pending possible charges related to the crash.
Jackson County is between La Crosse and Marshfield.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor. No further information was available.
