Brodhead student council raises money for girl’s wish

BRODHEAD — The Brodhead High School Student Council is raising money for a 6-year-old girl from Monroe during the week of Feb. 10, Wish Week. She was diagnosed with Rett’s Syndrome, which is a genetic mutation that affects brain development, and her wish is to go to Disney World.

How to donate:

●  Buy a t-shirt online at https://brodheadmakeawish20.itemorder.com/sale, due Jan. 30

●  Send a donation to Brodhead High School, 2501 5th Ave. W

●  Donate to the “Wishing Well” during the high school band concert on Feb. 10; the girls basketball game on Feb. 11; or the boys basketball game on Feb. 13

●  Donate $1 during the basketball games for a chance to win prizes during a half-time free throw contest

●  Buy a pie or a slice of pie at the Brodhead High School Student Council Pie Sale at the boys basketball game on Feb. 13

●  Give a donation of change to a Brodhead Middle School student to compete in the “Penny Wars” at the school
