MONROE - A Brodhead man was charged Tuesday with child abuse after he allegedly slapped and kicked a child in the face. Tyson Vernon Foster, 29, faces a Class I felony charge of child abuse after an incident on May 24 when he allegedly repeatedly struck a child. According to the child's testimony, Foster kicked him in the face after an altercation where Foster angrily shouted at and berated him.
