A group of people stand near the Clarence Covered Bridge at the entrance to the Bridge Inn restaurant, just west of the bridge on the north side of the road, west of Brodhead. In front from left is Marvin Stabler, Blanche Springsted and Charles Mcintosh. Standing on the fence is Vilas Swartz. The date is unknown. The bridge crossed the Sugar River on Route 20, now Wisconsin 11. It was damaged and removed in 1931.
